Profile
With over two decades of experience in the structured finance industry, Ian assists clients in managing highly-structured transactions. Ian's practice focuses on representation of investment banks, regional banks and non-bank mortgage lenders and servicers in connection with residential mortgage-backed securitization (RMBS), residential mortgage finance and whole loan trading.
Prior to joining the firm, Ian was a Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Flagstar Bank, covering RMBS, whole loan trading, warehouse finance, commercial lending, and capital markets transactions generally. Prior to joining Flagstar, Ian spent time at J.P. Morgan and Barclays Capital, where he covered all structured finance asset classes, with an emphasis on RMBS and commercial mortgage-backed securities.
Ian is well-regarded for his commitment to mentoring and coaching junior attorneys and more generally, fostering a culture of fairness and inclusion where everyone is afforded genuine opportunity for professional growth.
