Profile
Hugo Champoux is a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group. He practises in civil and commercial litigation, regularly intervening in cases involving construction law, business law and shareholder disputes.
He assists, advises and represents a diverse clientele of organizations and public institutions, businesses of all sizes and individuals, regularly pleading before the Court of Québec, the Superior Court and the Court of Appeal.
In this capacity, he is also involved in labour law litigation before the courts, mainly on applications for injunctions, appeals for judicial review, and other appeals.

Professional Career
In the academic world, Hugo taught civil proceedings and evidence at the École du Barreau du Québec for several years and helped train the province's future lawyers in the drafting of pleadings and representations before the courts.
During his legal studies at the Université de Sherbrooke, Hugo won the Maurice-Delorme Prize for mastering the art of examination, cross-examination and pleading, as well as the Guy R. Landry Prize for academic excellence in business law and securities law.
