Professional Activities and Experience
  • Prepared countermeasures against a number of legislations acting unfavorably for medical institutions as the legal advisor of the Korean Hospital Association (2004 ~ 2007)
  • Advised the Korea Pharmaceutical Wholesalers Association on preparing measures against low bidding prices for medical products in accordance with Article 47 of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act (2009)
  • Advised Yuyu Pharma on establishment of a joint venture ISS with a global venture capital company Batelle (2008)
  • Achieved the ification of a disposition not approving medical care for general employees suffering accidents during commutes for the first time in Korea (2006)
  • Achieved favorable judgments for medical institutions in various cases (criminal and administrative) involving overcharge of medical expenses by proving that most of the charges were not unfair (2006 ~ 2010)
  • Achieved a provisional disposition to prohibit the sales of a rival fashion company’s products on the basis of a unregistered design right for the first time in Korea (2008)
  • Advised the Korea Life Insurance Association on countermeasures against legislation for establishment of training institutes that are similar to its affiliated institutes (2011)
  • Represented the biggest medical company in Incheon in litigation in relation to a criminal case involving breach of law on using the actual name of titleholders in real estate transactions during a purchase of a real estate worth a large amount and received a judgment clearing the company of the alleged charges (2015)
  • Represented a factory owner in litigation in relation to a damages claim as a result of a theft of facilities and materials worth several 100000000s of Korean Won due to poor guarding by a security company A and won the case (in a similar case in the past the court had held unfavorably for the plaintiff) (2019)
  • Advised the General Insurance Association of Korea on the improvement of legislations and policies for making the medical fees for patients suffering traffic accidents appropriate (2019 ~ Present)
