Profile

Guillermo Conde is a senior associate of the Corporate/Commercial Law practice in the Canary Islands. He joined Garrigues in 2007, starting out in the Madrid office before joining the Canary Islands practice.

He has extensive experience in providing corporate and commercial advice to domestic and foreign companies, particularly on mergers and acquisitions, business crises, shareholder agreements and joint ventures, civil and commercial contracts, real estate and tourism law, business group restructuring processes and family business matters.

He advises on board secretarial duties, providing global assistance to boards of directors, whether acting as secretary or legal adviser.

He has also participated in numerous refinancing and debt restructuring transactions involving business groups.

He provides recurring advice to domestic and foreign business groups present in the Canary Islands with interests in a range of sectors, including the tourism, real estate, construction, chemicals, duty free, oil & gas, media and audiovisual, healthcare, automotive and financial sectors.

He is a lecturer on the Executive Master's Degree in Tourism Efficiency, Marketing and Innovation (EMITUR) at ESCOEX Business School.

Guillermo Conde is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
