Profile

Gonzalo Valencia del Alcázar is a partner in the M&A, Private Equity and Venture Capital, with particular relevance in the Energy sector and in relation to renewable assets.
He has extensive experience in energy M&A and private equity deals, having advised the main actors in the renewable energy market,having through the investment and divestment in renewable proyects and portfolios both in operation (brownfeld) and under development (greenfield), having provided advice in many of the most relevant transactions in Spain.

He has also advised the main private equity funds and ventur capital investors on investments and divestments in domestic and multinational companies and groups in a wide range of sectors, including biotech, automotive, financial services, advertising, IT, restaurants, tourism & hotels, and infrastructure. He has also advised numerous domestic and foreign companies on national and international spin-offs, mergers and business restructuring processes.
He provides recurring advisory services on corporate law and commercial contracts to Spanish companies and international groups with a presence in Spain, holding the position of nondirector board secretary or deputy secretary at various companies.
Gonzalo has given a number of courses relating to his areas of practice at Centro de Estudios Garrigues and at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria.
