Profile
Giancarlo Vignolo is a senior associate in the practice of the Administrative Law in Garrigues since April 2017.
Previously, he was a lawyer of the Legal Department of Duke Energy Egenor S. en C. por A. (currently Orazul Energy Perú S.A) from January 2010 to November 2016. He was in charge of all administrative and regulatory matters (electricity, natural gas and hydrocarbons), contractual issues (civil and commercial agreements, EPC`s, O&Ms, PPAs, new projects, among others), corporate issues (mergers, general meetings of shareholders, increases and reductions equity, corporate reorganizations, sales of assets, among others), absolution of all kind of legal enquiries and training for all collaborates in legal regulations applicable to the company such as the FCPA Law, Code of Ethics (COBE), among others. Also responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to all companies in the economic group such as Termoselva S.R.L., Eteselva S.R.L., Aguaytia Energy del Perú S.R.L., Etenorte S.R.L., Gas Integral S.R.L., Duke Energy Peru Holdings S.R.L. (in Peru) and Electroquil S.A. (in Ecuador - Guayaquil).
Between November 2016 and March 2017, he was an advisor to the Licensing Direction of the National Superintendence of Higher Education (SUNEDU), collaborating with this administrative body in the development of regulatory projects to its Board of Directors in addition to absolving a series of administrative enquiries related to the issuance of institutional licenses for the operation of public and private universities in Peru.
Currently, he advises recurrently to different public and private entities in administrative, regulatory and / or environmental matters in the different projects that are proposed, regulatory proposals, preparation of legal reports, among others.
He has been a professor of Administrative Law I and II as well as Energy Law at the Universidad Científica del Sur from April 2013 to December 2016.
He has been a speaker of many events related to his specialties.
He is an authorized member of the Bar Association of Lima.
