Profile
Francisco Javier Bosch is a senior associate in the Corporate/Commercial Law area of Garrigues' Madrid office, where he has pursued his entire professional career, specializing primarily in finance deals.
He has participated in a large number of project finance transactions for building infrastructures and energy production plants, both in Spain and abroad, and in corporate refinancing transactions. He also provides legal advice to sponsors and financial institutions on contractual matters related to project development, mainly in the renewable energy sector. Likewise, he holds the office of vice-secretary of the board of directors of several companies from the medical and advertising sectors and assists such companies and their investors on contractual and corporate law matters.
As a lecturer, Javier teaches commercial contracts on the Masters for Access to the legal profession at Univ. Pontificia Comillas ICADE since the year 2017 and on the Masters offered by the "Centro de Estudios Garrigues".
Javier is a member of the Madrid Bar Association since September 2012 and a member of the New York Bar since October 2019.
In June 2019 he was awarded the Best Young Attorney Prize ("Premio a Mejor Abogado Joven") by Expansión Jurídico.

- Exchange student at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, 2011.
- Master of Law´s (LL.M.) Harvard Law School - Cambridge (Massachusetts) (USA), 2018.
- Javier´s project on how to introduce the common-law institution of the "trust" in civil law countries and, particularly, in Spain, was awarded the prestigious "la Caixa" Fellowship in June 2016.
- Awarded the Scholarship for excellent students of the Madrid Region in the years 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.
