Ferran Escayola is a Corporate department partner in the Barcelona office and co-chairs the Firm's US-Desk. Until 2016 he headed the office in New York.

Represents public and private companies, multinationals, investment banks, private equity funds (LPs, GPs and targets), private banks / family office clients and services and industrial companies in their investments in Spain and internationally in the US and Latin America.

Among his main activities, Ferran advises purchasers and sellers in both share and asset deals, mergers, debt and corporate restructurings, joint-ventures, strategic alliances and related transactions, with a particular emphasis on cross-border deals.

Additionally, he provides legal advice transactional entertainment matters, image rights endorsements, sponsorships, film and other audiovisual content financings and advises clients in the sports industry.

In 2005-2006, Ferran Escayola joined the M&A group of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York as Foreign Associate.

Since 2008, Ferran regularly appears in the Spanish edition of "Best Lawyers". He has been recognized as a "leading lawyer" by Chambers Global: Leading Lawyers for Business and named finalist at the "40 under 40" awards by The M&A Advisor in the US and Iberian Lawyer in Spain.

Ferran is Member of the Barcelona Bar Association, the Harvard Law School Alumni, the US Navy Seal Foundation and member of the Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP Alumni Association, amongst others.
