Félix is a partner in the Corporate Law Department. He advises clients across a broad range of sectors on mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, joint ventures and corporate restructurings.

From an industry perspective, Félix usually works for international private equity funds at all stages of the investment cycle. He also has extensive experience advising in financial services industry M&A deals. Félix has recently represented both banks and insurers in some of the most relevant bancassurance transactions made in Spain.

Félix joined Garrigues in September 2007. From September 2013 to September 2014 he was seconded to the London office of Cravath as Foreign Corporate Associate. During this time he focused on both equity and debt capital market transactions, gaining considerable expertise in high-yield bond offerings.

Félix has been recognised as "Rising Star" by The Legal 500 (EMEA) in Private Equity (2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020) and Insurance (2018, 2019 and 2020).

Félix Ferreño is member of the Madrid Bar Association.
