Favio Batres is a Director at BLP's Nicaragua office, specializing in Competition & Antitrust, Labor & Employment, Mining and Advertising Marketing & Consumer Protection. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions involving multinationals, as well as in processing antitrust authorizations and managing competition matters in strategic sectors such as finance and construction. He advises local and international clients on corporate and business matters related to Competition & Antitrust, coordinates complex financing projects in sectors such as mining, including their regulatory aspects, and counsels international financial institutions on the structuring of loans and guarantees. Favio joined BLP as a Director in 2024.
