Diego Vicente has been a partner in the Litigation and Arbitration Department at Garrigues since 2010, the firm where he has spent his professional career.

He has extensive experience in the legal management of civil and commercial litigation, an area in which he has focused his practice for over twenty years, mainly in contractual and non-contractual liability disputes, corporate law, unfair competition and claims for damages arising from breaches of competition law (both arising from cartel agreements and in cases of abuse of dominant position).

He has defended the interests of large national and international listed companies in various sectors and, in particular, in the distribution, insurance, financial and investment services and automotive sectors.

He regularly intervenes in proceedings both before the courts and before various national (Spanish Court of Arbitration, Civil and Commercial Court of Arbitration, Court of Arbitration of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and international (ICC) arbitration institutions.

He has been a lecturer on the Master's Degree in Business Law at the University of Navarra since 2012 and on the Master's Degree in Access to the Legal Profession at Centro de Estudios Garrigues since 2015.

Practising member of the Madrid Bar Association since 1999.

Course in foreign trade from the Castilla y León Exports Institute (EXCAL), obtaining a grant from the above body to promote overseas exports from Castilla y León (1999).
