Diego Pachas specializes in mining and environmental law.

His practice focuses on advising clients on mining and environmental regulatory matters. He counsels both Peruvian and international companies on securing the licenses and permits required to carry out mining projects, and on carrying out legal audits related to permits and occupational health and safety compliance -primarily within the mining sector.

Diego also assists in managing permits and developing defense strategies in administrative punishment proceedings before the OSINERGMIN, OEFA, and SUNAFIL.

In addition, he actively participates in mining and administrative procedures before the Ministry of Energy and Mines, the National Superintendency of State Property, the Ministry of Culture, the National Service for Natural Protected Areas, and other Peruvian authorities related to the mining and energy sector.

Diego has been featured in Chambers & Partners' Global Guide to Mining and recognized as a Notable Practitioner by IFLR.
