Cecilia Buresti has gained extensive experience in both contentious and advisory services, with a particular focus on the insurance and banking sectors handling high-profile cases for both national and international clients.

Cecilia’s experience covers a wide range of civil and commercial pre-contentious and contentious matters, including disputes relating to the manufacture and sale of allegedly defective products and related recall campaigns, environmental contamination, workplace safety, insolvency, the issuance of derivatives and other financial instruments, the delivery of financial advisory services, and the alleged breach of professional duties by directors, officers and auditors. She has in-depth experience in insurance claim disputes and has advised clients on numerous high-profile cases.

Prior to joining our Firm, Cecilia worked for several years at a leading international law firm, becoming head of the Litigation department.

She graduated in Law from the University of Bologna and studied International and comparative law at the University of Dallas Southwestern Legal Foundation.

She is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars.

Cecilia is mentioned in the major international legal directories.

She is a member of the Italian Bar Association, and she is admitted to appearing before Italy's Highest Court, the Corte di Cassazione.
