Carmen Mata is a partner in the Tax practice area. She has extensive experience in tax matters, especially in the banking, finance and insurance industries. She has also participated in various M&A private equity transactions.

Her areas of expertise include the taxation of financial institutions and insurance companies, as well as all tax issues relating to capital markets and financial products.

She also provides recurring advice on tax matters in the context of Mergers & Acquisitions and internal restructuring transactions carried out by the above mentioned entities, and by private equity entities and companies from the industrial sectors.

She has been actively involved in analyzing and designing financial products.
