Brigitte Gauthier is a trusted advisor to many of Canada's largest banks and international financial institutions. A partner in Lavery's Financing and Financial Services group, she counsels Canadian and foreign lenders, institutional investors, and borrowers on complex, high-value financing transactions that span industries and borders.
Her practice covers the full spectrum of debt financing - syndicated loans, real estate financing, project financing, securitization, and banking law - with a particular strength in structuring and executing innovative financing solutions. She frequently designs hybrid structures combining debt and equity, helping clients advance large-scale real estate, infrastructure, and energy projects.
Brigitte is also known for her long-standing representation of one of Canada's largest charitable foundations, guiding it through significant investment transactions, strategic partnerships, and philanthropic initiatives.
