Yannick Caballero Cuevas is an associate in the Regulatory, Competition, Information Technology, and Intellectual Property team at Walder Wyss, working in both the Lausanne and Geneva offices. He advises clients on data protection law, IT contracts, and regulatory issues relating to technology, including artificial intelligence (AI).
He holds a Bachelor of Law (2015) and a Master of Law (2017) from the University of Fribourg. He passed the Geneva bar exam in 2019, ranking first in his class. In 2020, he worked as a Corporate and M&A associate at a major Swiss law firm. He then joined the Center for Banking and Financial Law at the University of Geneva as a research and teaching assistant, where he began a PhD. His research focused, mainly, on financial regulation and AI regulation.
