Xavier Asensio Andreu is a principal associate in the tax, mergers and acquisitions and accounting law practice areas and specializes in taxation issues relating to financial institutions.

He has extensive experience in merger transactions, acquisitions of companies and businesses and processes for the restructuring of business groups. In particular, he has provided tax advice on an ongoing basis in the main M&A transactions and internal restructuring processes executed by business groups in the financial services industry.
