Patent application preparation and prosecution support

Tyler assists clients with preparing and filing patent applications both domestically and internationally. He prepares and files U.S. applications and mid-prosecution documents, as well as Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) applications and related documents. He also prepares national stage filing instructions for foreign associates. He consistently monitors applications, from application filing to grant, to ensure all formality requirements have been met and the application is in good order. His experience includes:

• Preparing and filing patent applications and mid-prosecution documents with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and the International Bureau.
• Preparing foreign filing instruction letters, verifying foreign filing requirements and overseeing the timely filing of formality documents and foreign office action responses.
• Reviewing and reporting incoming US and foreign office actions, as well as foreign associate correspondences.
