Steven Hix is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. He represents clients on a range of matters, including complex commercial disputes, financial services claims, business torts, products liability matters, and contract claims. Steven provides his clients with comprehensive representation through all phases of their disputes, from pre-litigation strategy through trial and appeal.

Steven earned his J.D. (summa cum laude) from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he was associate editor-in-chief of the South Carolina Law Review. He also received a B.A. in Political Science from Denison University, and he remains actively involved in the Denison alumni community. Prior to enrolling in law school, Steven served as a legislative aide to a state representative for two years, during which he was completely responsible for drafting and promoting legislation for the representative.
