Rubén Magallares is a partner in the Litigation and Arbitration department of Garrigues, where he has pursued his professional career since 2006.

He can boast a wealth of experience of handling civil and corporate/commercial litigation, and has also collaborated in criminal and labour proceedings. Specifically, he has focused his activity above all on contractual and noncontractual liability-related disputes, company law, breach of investment agreements and shareholders agreements, unfair competition, damages arising from breaches of competition law, as well as litigation relating to the commercialization and distribution of financial products. He acts in proceedings before both the courts and the various arbitration institutions both domestically and internationally.

He has been a collaborating professor of the Master's Degree in Access to the Legal Profession at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2012 and 2013, and for several years he has been a professor of the Master's Degree in Access to the Legal Profession at Centro de Estudios Garrigues.

Rubén Magallares has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 2006.
