Raquel López Valero is principal associate in the Tax practice area and a member of Garrigues' team of experts in accounting law.

She has extensive experience in providing tax advice to national and international groups and companies operating in a variety of sectors such as pharmaceuticals, industrial, services, etc., as well as advising family businesses.

She also regularly advises the aforementioned entities on taxation (both direct and indirect) and accounting matters relating to major M&A transactions and internal restructuring processes undertaken by them.

She also has teaching experience, having lectured on various courses and spoken at a number of seminars, such as the 2013 year-end Corporate Income Tax Seminar held at Colegio de Economistas de Valencia in March 2015 and 2014; the Executive Business Law Course held at Centro de Estudios Garrigues in association with Harvard University in 2012 and 2013; and various internal training courses related to Corporate Income Tax and the Spanish National Chart of Accounts.
