Profile
As a Senior Associate / Attorney at Law at Maric & Co. Law Firm, where I have been a part of the team since 2019, I have developed a broad legal practice with a strong focus on litigation and commercial law. I became a licensed Attorney at Law in August 2023, which marked a key step in my professional journey.
My work is primarily centered within the Litigation Department, where I advise and represent clients in debt collection and enforcement proceedings, creating strategies to each case to ensure efficiency and successful outcomes. I am also involved in non-litigation proceedings, particularly those related to the collection of receivables based on bills of exchange, helping clients manage financial exposure and recover claims effectively. In addition to this, I assist clients in procedures related to the acquisition and renunciation of citizenship of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our team has successfully handled numerous such requests, providing full legal support throughout the process in accordance with all legal grounds and administrative requirements.
I also have experience in cross-border legal matters, especially in the recognition and enforcement of foreign judicial and arbitral decisions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This includes preparing legal assessments, navigating international agreements, and coordinating with both domestic institutions and foreign counsel.
My background in intellectual property law includes work on trademark protection, as well as advising on copyrights, design rights, and patents. In addition, I have been involved in matters concerning personal data protection, where I had the opportunity to support clients in complying with applicable data privacy regulations and aligning their practices with legal requirements.
Furthermore, I provide legal support in real estate matters, representing clients in the registration, pre-registration, and deletion of ownership and other rights before the Land Registry Office, while ensuring compliance with all relevant legal procedures.
Throughout my time at Maric & Co., including my early internship, I have had the opportunity to work across various legal departments, which helped me build a solid and well-rounded foundation. Today, I continue to deliver reliable, practical, and client-focused legal solutions in both domestic and international contexts.
