Massimo Tesei specialises in corporate and commercial law. He has acquired a significant experience in advising leading companies in M&A, private equity and extraordinary finance transactions.

He has an extensive experience in the field of capital markets, in takeover bids, corporate governance and market abuse matters. He also deals with debt restructuring transactions and acquisition and management of distressed assets.

He assists clients in sanction proceedings before supervisory authorities and in corporate and commercial litigation proceedings.

Before joining Gianni & Origoni, Massimo worked in leading Italian and international law firms and was one of the founding partners and head of the Milan office of a leading Italian law firm.

He graduated, with honours, in Economics & Business and in Law from LUISS 'Guido Carli' University in Rome.

He is a member of the Italian Bar Association.

He speaks Italian and English.
