Profile
Marta Fernández Echevarría is a senior associate in the Labor and Employment Law practice.
She joined the firm in 2010.
Her professional practice focuses mainly on the provision of legal advice to companies on a range of labor law and social security issues.
She has extensive experience in judicial and nonjudicial proceedings throughout Spain in relation to labor, social security and occupational risk prevention matters.
She provides recurring advice on labor and social security matters to some of the largest companies in Castilla y León, having participated in numerous workforce downsizing and internal flexibility procedures (modification of working conditions, temporary layoffs, collective dismissals...), as well as termination of individual employment relationships. Likewise, she has intervened in the negotiation of different Collective Agreements and company agreements.
She has taught on the Master's Degree in Legal and Tax Counseling for Businesses at the School of Business of Valladolid Chamber of Commerce since 2011.
Marta Fernández Echevarría is a member of the Valladolid Bar Association (ICAVA).
