Profile

Mafalda Moreira is a Principal Associate in the Tax practice area and has 15 years of extensive experience in all aspects of this department, in particular within the scope of tax consultancy in the structuring of merger and acquisition transactions, corporate reorganizations and internationalization.

Within this field, she has advised some of the largest national business groups, particularly in the north of the country, as well as international investors in inbound investments in Portugal.
Mafalda also has experience in asset restructuring for private clients, in particular for high net worth individuals.
Furthermore, Mafalda has vast experience in providing up-to-date legal advice to companies and individuals, including in tax litigation.
She is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association and of the Portuguese Tax Association (Associação Fiscal Portuguesa) (AFP).

Education

She has a degree in Law from the Law Faculty of the Universidade Católica.
She also has an Executive Master's in Management for Legal Experts from the EGE - Escola de Gestão Empresarial da Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and an Advanced Professional Certificate in International Tax from the IBFD - International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation.
