Macarena García Davó is a principal associate in the Litigation and Arbitration department of Garrigues's Malaga office, which she joined in 2005.

She specializes in providing legal advice and managing a wide range of civil and commercial lawsuits.

Worthy of special notice is her involvement in court proceedings concerning corporate matters, specifically challenges to corporate resolutions and directors' liability. She has extensive experience in proceedings relating to contractual and noncontractual civil liability, construction, insurance, intellectual property and banking, representing financial institutions, especially in connection with proceedings for the enforcement of judicial and nonjudicial instruments.

She is known for her negotiation and mediation skills, exhausting all possible options before resorting to litigation. Her pugnacious approach is the best way of defending clients' interests in court proceedings.

She also specializes in providing advice on situations of financial distress. Her experience encompasses providing assistance to debtors facing situations of current or imminent technical insolvency as well as defending creditors' claims and interests in formal insolvency proceedings.
