Leopoldo Fragoso is a member of the Securities Markets and Banking and Finance practice areas. Before joining Garrigues, he worked for more than 8 years at Ritch Mueller.

He has significant experience advising both listed companies and financial institutions in the public and private sectors across a wide array of securities transactions, including the structuring of hybrid products and complex asset-backed securitizations, having participated in a large number of initial and subsequent public offerings and cross-border investment grade and high yield bond offerings pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S of the US Securities Act of 1933.

He also provides regular advice to financial institutions in bilateral and syndicated lending, asset financing and other leveraged transactions with different levels of complexity. He is also experienced in mergers and acquisitions, including public and private tender offers, leveraged acquisitions and reorganizations, and general corporate work.

Degree in Law (J.D. equivalent), Universidad Panamericana.
Post-graduate studies in commercial, civil and banking and finance law, including derivative transactions.
