Profile
Kim Vova is a Senior Associate at ENS in the Employment practice.
Kim routinely assists in advising both domestic and multinational corporations on complex workplace matters, including disputes arising from unfair and automatically unfair dismissals, claims of unfair labour practices, the assertion of organisational rights, and the strategic management of collective bargaining processes. She has experience working on matters before South African labour dispute resolution fora, and has drafted and assisted in preparing pleadings, notices, affidavits and heads of arguments before the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA), the Labour Court, and the Labour Appeal Court.
She regularly assists in preparing comprehensive opinions on disciplinary and incapacity disputes, large scale retrenchments and the transfer of employees under section 197 of the Labour Relations Act. She has assisted clients in the energy, beverage, fast moving consumer goods, chemicals, health, and mining industries.
Kim frequently assists in disciplinary and grievance hearings, drafts workplace policies and employment contracts, and supports the delivery of training for HR executives and line managers on legislative updates and emerging jurisprudence.
Kim is a member of the South African Society for Labour Law.
