Practical healthcare regulatory and transactional counsel

Katie Lavigne advises clients on a wide range of healthcare regulatory and transactional matters, with a focus on pharmacy-related compliance and operations. She delivers thoughtful, practical guidance on complex issues, including state licensure obligations.

Katie regularly works with pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), discount plans and third-party administrators, helping them navigate shifting state regulatory frameworks. Her experience covers a variety of related areas, including federal and state pharmacy laws, healthcare businesses including pharmacies, credit card compliance and Medicare government programs.

Before joining Quarles, Katie worked at both a PBM and a global healthcare services company. These experiences have given her a strong appreciation for clients' day-to-day business realities and inform her pragmatic, relationship-driven approach.
