Partner in charge of the Tax Department for the Basque Country and Navarra.

Joseba has spent his entire professional career at Garrigues, gaining over 20 years' experience in the tax practice. He specializes in corporate reorganizations and acquisitions, tax planning for international groups and, in general, providing comprehensive tax advice, especially on the provincial tax law of the Basque Country and Navarra.

He currently teaches Tax and Finance Law as part of the Business Management and Law Degree program run by Universidad de Deusto. He has collaborated with Universidad del País Vasco, lecturing on its Master's Degree in Business Law course.

Regular speaker at tax seminars organized by Garrigues in conjunction with other organizations (APD, Chamber of Commerce, Wolters Kluwer, etc.) and business associations.

He regularly works with different media outlets covering current tax issues.

Member of the Basque Country Economists' Association.

In the last few editions of Best Lawyers, Joseba has been named one of Spain's top professionals in the tax law category.
