John van Niekerk is an Associate at ENS in the Corporate Commercial practice.

John specialises in general corporate and commercial law as well as mergers and acquisition in both the publicly listed and the private spaces, corporate restructures, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.

His experience includes advising on corporate matters, drafting and negotiating commercial documents, assisting with JSE circulars, advising on corporate governance and regulatory compliance and conducting legal due diligence investigations.

In addition, John is also experienced in advising local and international clients on corporate and commercial matters in the listed and unlisted space and has advised clients in the mining, energy and private equity sectors and/or industries.
