Jennifer has over 3 years of practice in the areas of Corporate and Commercial Law, Corporate Governance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Oil and Gas, Natural Resources, Banking and Finance, Financial Technology, Taxation, Immigration, Transportation, and Dispute Resolution.
She is currently overseeing the liquidation processes of three entities in Ghana and has advised both local and international clients on a wide range of tax and regulatory matters. Her recent work includes advising on the tax aspects of acquiring and exporting raw cocoa beans and semi-processed/processed cocoa products from Ghana, resolving tax issues with the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) for a dormant entity, and advising a multinational consultancy agency on its withholding tax obligations for rent in Ghana.
Throughout her career, Jennifer has led and contributed to numerous high-impact matters. These include guiding a foreign oil and gas service provider through the structuring and incorporation of a joint venture in Ghana, advising on the dissolution and exit of USAID-funded entities from Ghana following a stop work order, and supporting the merger of affiliated companies under a common parent entity. She also advised on the market entry requirements for a global e-commerce company, which has since successfully launched operations in Ghana, and continues to provide corporate governance and company secretarial support to several major corporate clients.
Jennifer has also represented a pharmaceutical company focused on improving access to medicines through innovative healthcare financing solutions. In addition, she has developed experience in data protection compliance, regularly advising international technology firms on Ghana's data privacy framework. She also counsels clients on emerging financial technologies, including investments in digital assets such as Bitcoin and stablecoins
Jennifer is a member of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA), the International Bar Association (IBA), the Ghana Chapter of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the International Trademark Association (INTA).
