Jaime Olazábal is a partner in the Corporate/Commercial Law and Real Estate practices.

He has extensive experience in both sale and purchase transactions, construction and leases and financial aspects, as well as the acquisition of holdings in real estate companies. He has advised domestic and international clients on both the acquisition and disposal of a diverse range of real estate assets (hotel complexes, office buildings, industrial warehouses, shopping malls, residential developments, different types of land etc.) and on the creation of various corporate structures and financing transactions relating to investment in the real estate sector.

He also provides ongoing advice to several Spanish financial institutions on the entire process of awarding real estate assets and on real estate divestment by financial institutions, including debt restructuring transactions and processes for the winding-up and liquidation of real estate companies held by financial institutions.

Jaime Olazábal is a member of the Madrid Bar Association and the Barcelona Bar Association.
