Henar López de Jaime is senior associate in the Litigation, Arbitration, Restructuring and Insolvency Department at the Garrigues Barcelona office.

In her professional activity she provides advisory services in areas of civil and commercial litigation and insolvency law. Particularly, she has experience in:

- Strategic, global and complete advising on issues of general private law, and client's interests defense in out-of-court and judiciary scenarios.

- Civil and commercial disputes over contractual matters such as termination, fulfilment or interpretation of any kind of civil or commercial contract, societary conflicts, shares purchases agreements, non-contractual liability, unfair competition, directors' liability, real estate and construction law, etc.

- Advising financial institutions in foreclosure proceedings on collateral and personal guarantees for the recovery of claims, debt portfolio purchases and proceedings related to validity and performance of banking contracts.

- General advice in insolvency proceedings, both from creditor and debtor perspectives, both during the pre-insolvency phase and the insolvency proceedings. Furthermore, she has handled winding-up and qualification sections in insolvency proceedings and purchases of production units of insolvent or pre-insolvent companies.

- General advice and participation in arbitration proceedings.
