Profile
Gala is a senior associate the Litigation and Arbitration practice, specialized in Economic Criminal Law.
During her professional career she has assumed the role of both prosecution and defense in numerous criminal proceedings. Notable examples of her experience include conducting proceedings related to embezzlement, falsification, fraud, disclosure of corporate secrets, tax crimes, environmental crimes, crimes against workers' rights, etc., on behalf of both public companies and natural and legal persons before Court.
She has experience in the field of criminal cassation, both in the presentation and in the challenge of appeals. She has also provided extrajudicial advice on criminal risks within companies, assuming the management of extrajudicial negotiations.
Gala is part of the firm's group of lawyers specialized in advising on crime prevention models and programs. These may include criminal risk assessment, criminal management systems, organizational models, professional conduct, and anti-corruption policies. She has also participated in various projects that were focused on the design and implementation of Criminal Compliance programs.
She is a professor of criminal procedure in the master's degree for access to the legal profession at the Catholic University of Valencia, and has given training sessions aimed at both workers and employers from very different sectors, on money laundering and criminal liability of legal persons.
