Gabriela Cacerea has over 22 years of professional experience in the legal profession and co-heads the Corporate/M&A and Energy and Natural Resources practices.
She played a key role in numerous domestic and cross-border M&A transactions as well as various regulatory projects. Her work spans joint ventures, privatizations, IPOs, secondary offerings, and major restructuring projects, reflecting her ability to navigate complex and high-stakes corporate matters.
In the energy sector, Gabriela has coordinated projects across all stages of development and operation, as well as regulatory assessments, including in conventional electricity and natural gas downstream initiatives, renewable energy, energy efficiency projects and new technologies, and transactions supporting the transition to clean energy and decarbonization.
Gabriela also assists clients in structuring energy-related contracts, as well as with assessments of the regulatory framework and in ensuring compliance with national primary legislation and EU regulations.
Last, but not least, she offers specialized advice in energy-related disputes, teaming up with the firm's litigation attorneys.
