With more than 18 years of experience in dispute resolution - particularly in commercial disputes, restructuring, and insolvency - Felicia Tan is a trusted adviser and advocate for a diverse range of stakeholders. Her clients include multinational corporations, institutional creditors, liquidators, judicial managers, auditors, directors, and shareholders. Felicia is consistently recognised in leading legal directories and is currently listed as a Litigation Star in Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific 2025, a Rising Star Partner (Restructuring & Insolvency) in IFLR1000 2025, a Recommended Lawyer in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2025, and a Notable Practitioner (Restructuring & Insolvency) in AsiaLaw Leading Lawyers 2024.

Drawing on her extensive dispute resolution background, Felicia is known for delivering direct, comprehensive, and commercially astute advice. Beyond her advocacy work, she is frequently engaged to assist with negotiations and to devise effective risk mitigation strategies. Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific 2025 describes her as possessing "deep domain knowledge, very responsive," and as someone who provides "empathetic and appropriate advice." Other publications have commended her for her "ability to break down complex legal issues into simple, clear, and straightforward explanations" and for her tenacity.

Felicia's commitment to the legal profession is reflected in her leadership roles. She served as an elected Council Member of the Law Society of Singapore from 2016 to 2021, co-chaired the Civil Practice Committee from 2020 to 2022, and was one of the two founding chairwomen of the Law Society's inaugural Women in Practice Committee from 2019 to 2022. A firm believer in making the law accessible to all, Felicia has volunteered at legal clinics and with the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme since 2010. She currently serves on the Partnership Committee of SG Her Empowerment, is a Board Member of IWIRC Singapore, and is an SMC Accredited Mediator.

Significant Accomplishments
Successfully represented primary shareholder in dispute with founding shareholders of famous Indian matchmaking portal shaadi.com, and obtained permanent anti-suit injunction in favour of primary shareholder. Anupam Mittal v Westbridge Ventures II Investment Holdings [2023] SGCA 1 - landmark decision on the threshold question of applicable law to pre-award stage subject matter arbitrability; with the first instance decision Westbridge Ventures II Investment Holdings v Anupam Mittal [2021] SGHC 244 being a landmark case in the Commonwealth as the first reported judgment confirming what law is applicable to govern subject matter arbitrability at the pre-award stage. This case was an Impact Case Winner at the Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific 2023 Awards.

Advising and representing AlmaStone in relation to the scheme moratorium sought by the Antanium Group (formerly known as the Rhodium Resources Group), one of the longest moratorium to-date (over two years).

Representing KPMG in the lawsuit brought by the liquidators of Hyflux for alleged negligence claims, and damages in excess of S$700 million.

Lead Counsel in a landmark case before the Court of Appeal in which the CA was invited to consider how the fundamental rules of insolvency interact (and should continue to interact) with the century old practices of the shipping industry. This case was raised in Parliament and specific amendments to the Companies Act were attributed to this.

Successfully represented local businessman in shareholder dispute involving claims of breach of shareholders' agreement over a company whose main asset is its F&B business at the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

Successfully represented global brands in intellectual property infringement matters against local entities.

Successfully defended local university against claim for defamation and other employment claims.

Successfully defended statutory board against judicial review applications at both the Singapore High Court and Court of Appeal levels.

Successfully defended statutory board against injunction, breach of lease agreement and misrepresentation claims where the claimed damage was approximately SGD one billion.

Successfully defended a statutory board against a reputable international contractor's complex multi-million dollar arbitration claims for liquidated damages, unforeseen physical conditions and other variation costs in relation to several infrastructure contracts.

Successfully defended one of Singapore's leading power generation companies and key provider of energy solutions in a complex arbitration against another major oil and gas company over a multi-tiered gas supply agreement.
