He joined Arthur Andersen Asesores Legales Tributarios in February 1989, which was subsequently integrated into J&A Garrigues, S.L.P., where he has pursued his entire professional career. He was promoted to partner in September 2001 at the Málaga office, to which he is assigned.

He specializes in tax law, particularly in advising family businesses from a wide range of industries (construction and real estate development and related industries; agro-food; manufacturing and services) and entities in the financial services industry. Experience in the implementation of restructuring processes for businesses and corporate holdings and in providing tax advice to high net worth individuals.

He has been a member of Garrigues' family business specialist group since its creation.

He has worked together with the Public Finance Department of the Málaga Business Administration Faculty and teaches the Wealth Taxation module in the Master's in Taxation at Universidad de Málaga.

He has taken part in numerous conferences organized by institutions (the Málaga Bar Association, the Málaga Economists' Association, the Almería Chamber of Commerce) and companies, giving speeches on general taxation and family businesses (family succession plans; business succession procedures; taxation of high net worth individuals).

He has been recognized by the international directory Best Lawyers since 2013 and was named Lawyer of the Year 2019 in the Tax Law specialty.
