Eleni is a Partner, Head of the Ship Finance team, and member of the Piraeus Bar Association.

Having joined the firm in 1991, Eleni is a seasoned finance lawyer with over two decades of experience advising on complex international financing transactions in the maritime, aviation, and project finance sectors.

Her expertise covers syndicated, bilateral, and mezzanine loan facilities, inter-creditor and subordination arrangements, guarantee facilities, and other forms of secure financing. Eleni regularly advises major international banks, financial institutions, and ship owning groups on cross-border financings, restructurings, and workouts.

Eleni has extensive experience advising on the financing of new building projects, secondhand acquisitions, and sale and leaseback transactions, as well as on corporate and security structures involving multiple jurisdictions.

She has been an invited speaker at several international conferences and workshops, including Lloyd's List events in London and Greece.

Professional Activities and Experience
Before joining our firm Eleni was amongst a team of lawyers working for the Shipping Department of Citibank N.A. in syndicated lending. She has been engaged in the structuring of many finance agreements encompassing the acquisition and finance of newbuildings and secondhand ships, setting up offshore vessel ownership corporate structures, joint venture and other structured financing.
