Edvijs Zandars is a senior associate at Ellex in Latvia, specializing in IP, IT, competition law and other regulated areas of law. He has more than 10 years of legal experience in advising clients on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights and licensing. Edvijs also regularly represents clients before Latvian courts, IP enforcement institutions, Latvian Patent Office, WIPO and EUIPO.

Edvijs is experienced in rendering regulatory assistance to multinational technology, e-commerce and telecommunications companies. He has been the focal point in communication with Latvian regulatory authorities concerning innovative technologies and solutions, helping clients successfully establish their services in Latvia. In addition to his regulatory expertise, Edvijs is an experienced professional in competition matters and has been involved in many significant competition cases handled by the firm. He is also a registered patent attorney in trademark matters in Latvia.
