Profile
Diana Y. Tsai is a member and Co-Leader of the Firm's Corporate Finance Practice Group. She represents a wide range of institutional and non-institutional lenders and is experienced in structuring, documenting, negotiating and closing secured and unsecured loan transactions, including asset-based and cash-flow financing. Ms. Tsai has considerable experience in representing both banks in single-lender loan transactions, as well as administrative agents and participating lenders in large multi-bank syndicated credit facilities. In addition, Ms. Tsai has handles various aspects of loan restructuring, workouts and liquidations.
In the corporate area, Ms. Tsai represents middle-market businesses in areas including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters and general corporate law.
In addition to her experience in private practice, Ms. Tsai has worked for Ameritech's legal department, in various divisions of the Argonne National Laboratory, and at the University of Chicago.
Ms. Tsai was named a 2010 Rising Star by Law & Politics, and designated as one of 40 Illinois Attorneys Under Forty to Watch. In 2011, she was recognized by Chicago Lawyer Magazine's Women in the Law, Law Bulletin Publishing's only publication dedicated to women attorneys. The recognition is significant in that among numerous nominations, only 12 lawyers are selected based on their unique impact, commitment and dedication to the legal profession.
