David Worthen focuses his practice in all areas of franchise litigation. In particular, these cases have included issues involving intentional underreporting of sales, tax fraud, standards enforcement, covenants not to compete, encroachment, nonpayment, trademark violations, unapproved products, and vicarious liability. He has also litigated cases involving patent infringement, insurance coverage, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and the ownership of television and radio stations.


Having successfully litigated more than 1,000 cases, David has extensive experience. He has also presented on standards enforcement at the International Franchise Association (IFA) Legal Symposium, the American Bar Association (ABA) Forum on Franchising and has written numerous articles for franchise publications.
