WSG Practice Industries

Profile

Dan is a trusted advisor to businesses facing complex labor and employment law issues. His mission is to provide practical, outcome-focused legal advice. To do this, he acquires comprehensive knowledge of each client's operations, then recommends solutions that both align with business objectives and comply with the law.

Dan represents clients across a range of industries and regularly performs internal investigations and counsels executives and senior leaders on best practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws governing the workplace. When his clients face litigation, Dan draws on over a decade of experience practicing before state and federal courts and administrative agencies, such as the Department of Labor and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He has handled a wide variety of employment disputes, including complex class action discrimination claims, wage and hour lawsuits, and litigation over employment agreements involving restrictive covenants. He also has experience in traditional labor matters, representing clients before the National Labor Relations Board in union representation disputes.

Dan recognizes the value of service to the community and therefore seeks pro bono opportunities each year. To that end, he has proudly represented veterans in a number of service-related legal matters. He has also performed pro-bono work on behalf of tenants facing eviction, and refugees seeking asylum.

Prior to joining Hunton, Dan worked at a national labor and employment law firm, where he represented employers exclusively.

While in law school, Dan taught a legal studies class to high school students and was a published editor on the University of Miami Law Review.
