Conrad Hansen, formerly a long term member of Minneapolis boutique law firm, Moore & Hansen, joined Dykema in October, 2018 and is now a senior counsel in Dykema's Minneapolis office. Conrad's practice emphasizes all aspects of trademark law as well as patent prosecution before the United States Patent and Trademark Office in a variety of fields. Conrad has obtained numerous federal trademark registrations for every type of trademark, ranging from traditional word marks and logos to three dimensional product configuration marks and distinctive product color combination marks. He has successfully cancelled existing registrations and opposed applications for marks confusingly similar to clients' marks. He has extensive experience managing intellectual property portfolios, resolving infringement disputes, and in licensing matters. His clients include individuals, startups, mid-sized businesses, and large corporations.

Because his practice emphasizes strategic planning, Conrad has a broad, comprehensive understanding of how properly positioned combinations of patents, trademarks and copyrights can be focused to form a more comprehensive protection plan for your business. His work has also included extensive patent and trademark clearance studies and branding projects to permit lawful market entries that avoid violations of the patents and trademarks of others.
