Profile
Christina Morgan is Of Counsel in the Firm's San Diego office. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional and co-chair of the Privacy & Data Security practice group. She is well-versed on consumer privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA). Ms. Morgan routinely conducts privacy reviews and counsels clients on privacy compliance and consent management. She has prepared myriad policies and terms for client websites, including privacy policies, notices of collection, terms of service, sweepstake terms, reward program terms, and return policies. Ms. Morgan also supports clients who are sharing personal information with vendors and other third parties by negotiating data processing agreements.
In addition, Ms. Morgan is a seasoned litigator with more than a decade of experience representing clients across Arizona, California, and Texas. While she has handled a wide variety of cases in the past 15 years, her practice currently focuses on:
- Contract disputes and business torts;
- Franchise disputes;
- Real estate disputes;
- Data breach class actions;
- California Invasion of Privacy Act and common law invasion of privacy claims; and
- Defamation.
Time and again, she has proven herself a skilled negotiator who obtains positive outcomes for her clients.
