Carmen Tato Suárez is a principal associate in the Corporate/Commercial Law Department, where she focuses her practice on the areas of commercial contracts and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and debt restructurings.

She has extensive experience providing ongoing advice to companies on corporate law matters, including acting as secretary to boards of directors, arranging and executing corporate transactions, preparing and negotiating all kinds of contracts, shareholders' agreements, business collaboration agreements, etc. She has also participated in myriad acquisitions and sales of companies, as well as in mergers, spin-offs and business reorganizations, particularly of family businesses.

She also provides ongoing advice to companies in pre-insolvency situations, with a special emphasis on non-judicial debt restructuring processes.

She is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
