Carmen María Hernández Pérez is a senior associate in the Tax practice area of Garrigues' Valladolid office, where she has spent her entire professional career.

This has allowed her to gain in-depth knowledge of companies from different sectors of activity, providing tax advice on an ongoing basis both to multinationals established in Castilla y León and to groups owned by family businesses and publicly owned entities in the region.

She has also participated in the design and implementation of corporate restructuring processes and represented taxpayers in tax proceedings on numerous occasions.

She lectures on indirect taxation on the Master's Degree in Legal and Tax Counseling course, run by the Law Faculty of Universidad de Valladolid.

Carmen María Hernández was a member of the Valladolid Bar Association until 2011, and has been, since that time, a member of the Valladolid Economists' Association.
