Alfredo D’Aniello  is expert in corporate and commercial law and advises on a wide variety of mergers and acquisitions transactions, including strategic business combinations, cross-border transactions, leveraged buyouts and other private equity sponsor-led transactions, tender offers, minority investments in public and private companies, joint ventures, spin-offs, divestitures, and other corporate matters. Alfredo’s practice has crossed multiple sectors, including healthcare/life sciences, real estate and hospitality, TMT, banking and regulated sectors, Tech and Artificial Intelligence, and industrials sectors. Since joining the Firm, Alfredo has worked on some of the largest corporate and M&A transactions in Italy.

With a strong background in corporate finance and financing transactions, he also regularly assists banks and other financial institutions in Italy. 

He serves on the M&A Executive Committee of the Firm and he is “recommended” for Corporate and M&A by the international legal directories “The Legal 500” and “Chambers”.

Alfredo joined the Firm in 2000 and became Partner in 2011. He was a Foreign Associate with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York in 2005-2006.

He graduated in Law maxima cum laude from the University of Naples “Federico II” and then completed his education with courses in Corporate Finance and Global Banking in London and Berlin in 2001/2002 and with a course in 2006 in Corporate Finance and Accounting at the New York University – School of Continuing and Professional Studies.

He speaks Italian and English.

Significant Accomplishments
In 2005-2006, he gained a significant experience with one of the most prestigious American law firms, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in the New York offices. In 2006, he completed in New York a course in Corporate Finance and Accounting with the New York University - School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
