Adam Steslicki provides analysis and recommendations for various patent prosecution and litigation matters, particularly in the areas of electrical, software, and mechanical-related inventions. He is dedicated to service excellence for all clients through due diligence, thoroughness, responsiveness and technical acumen.

His experience includes:

• Conducting patentability and clearance searches for a variety of electrical and computer science-related inventions; analyzing relevance of prior art uncovered during search process;


• Communicating with clients and inventors to devise patent drafting and prosecution strategy, including competitor patent portfolio analysis;


• Preparing U.S. patent applications for electrical, electro-mechanical, and software-related inventions in conformance with USPTO filing requirements;


• Preparing detailed responses to Office actions from the USPTO and various foreign patent agencies; conducting interviews with USPTO examiners to advance prosecution of U.S. patent applications;


• Interpreting and applying relevant MPEP guidelines to inform patent prosecution strategy; and


• Consulting with clients to protect intellectual property rights in the United States and abroad.

Adam also gained valuable experience as an intern for Michigan State University Technologies investigating and evaluating timing, level of development, market attractiveness, ease of implementation and intellectual property strength of new technologies leading to the creation of technology development plans and patent strategies. He also was an intern at a leading automobile manufacturer where he evaluated inventions from the electrical and mobility committees for business value, legal strength and inventive merit for patentability.
