Andy Bainbridge utilizes his diverse professional experiences as an industrial engineer, a public defender, and more than a decade as an USPTO patent examiner to inform his deep understanding of the full scope of patent prosecution. His prior career and law degree guide his approach in obtaining patent protections that align with and advance his client's unique business objectives.

Andy focuses on all aspects of patent prosecution, assisting clients with preparing and prosecuting domestic and international patent applications, and conducting analyses regarding patentability.

While at the USPTO, Andy gained significant experience in the Mechanical Division, especially in the "Dispensers" Art Unit, allowing over 450 patents. Specifically, Andy allowed patents pertaining to beer kegs, aerosol dispensers, refrigerators, induction heating cookware, dishwasher sensors, beverage dispenser systems, toothpaste tubes, a wide variety of bags, "glue guns," condiment bottles, super soakers, perfume dispensers, gasoline pumps, heating oil delivery methods, and even a special surface for super colliders.
